Thermolam technology is an innovative method of producing a new type of thermal insulation panel for covering building facades.

 

It offers a unique combination of ceramic panels and insulating material with outstanding thermal, operational, assembly and aesthetic qualities.

 

The Thermolam system combines the advantages of all previously used insulation techniques for building facades.

Thermolam panel construction

Thermolam technology is based on the use of a specially selected mixture of PSUR polyurethane foams.

 

Thermolam technology offers the perfect combination of the unique elegance and beauty of LAMINAM ceramic tiles with an insulating material with market-leading properties.

 

Thermal insulation panels made with Thermolam technology form the basis for a modern and complete facade system that provides an unprecedented set of advantages.

 

The key components of Thermolam technology are its modern heat-insulating material – polyurethane-polystyrene (PSUR) composite – and the patented assembly method for panels, allowing installation in virtually all weather conditions!

 

Thermolam offers ready-made, complete facade and insulation panels, together with an integrated sling system for simple, quick and durable mounting on a building.

 

The outer side of the panel is a beautiful quartz sinter with very high functional properties, especially in zones with variable weather.

Thermolam facade panels have exceptionally favourable features, which include:

 

  • extremely low heat loss, Thermolam’s coefficient of λ=0.025 W/mK is much lower than other insulating materials such as polystyrene or mineral wool, and the technology and assembly system eliminates the occurrence of thermal bridges. Thermolam panels meet the latest heat emission standard, which has been in force in Europe since January 2017.
  • very high use parameters: durability, frost resistance, chemical resistance, resistant to stains, scratches, graffiti, UV rays, high fire resistance,
  • high aesthetics of the facade, the panels are covered with ceramic sintered tiles from the Italian company Laminam in more than 100 refined designs,
  • extremely low weight of panels (about 12 kg), which eliminates the need for costly substructures,

  • long-lasting – 25-year guarantee for Laminam panels.

  • facade thickness of 12 cm, unusually low compared to other facades, which makes it possible to achieve a significantly larger PUM surface in the same contour of a building, especially compared to stone facades,

Structure and method of installation of thermal insulation panels

The thermal insulation panel developed by Eutherm is a composite material consisting of three main components:

  • Laminam ceramic panel sized 1.5 m x 0.5 m
  • PSUR composite layer – structural material forming the essential backbone of the panel, connecting the ceramic panel with a system of mechanical suspension brackets. This material also serves as thermal insulation, reducing heat loss from buildings
  • mechanical suspension bracket system for attaching the individual panels to the exterior wall and combining them into a complete wall cladding system.
